Los Angeles County: Calamity Claims Now Available Online
Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang has introduced a new online Disaster Relief e-Form, allowing property owners affected by recent wildfires and other disasters to apply for property tax reassessments more easily.
Who Qualifies?
- Property damage must exceed $10,000.
- Claims must be filed within 12 months of the disaster date.
How to File
- Visit the ADS-820 Misfortune and Calamity e-Form to review required documents and submit an online claim.
- The form is available for residential, commercial, and business properties, including boats, aircraft, and manufactured homes.
