Starting in July, Cuyahoga County, which includes the city of Cleveland, will be sending reassessment notices. This comes as commercial property owners across various sectors in other counties have recently experienced substantial increases in property valuations, and similar trends are expected in Cuyahoga County.
Property owners will have a limited informal window in August to review and dispute their tentative values. This window is critical for those who believe their property valuations are inaccurate or inflated, as it provides an opportunity to raise concerns and receive a pre-tax bill adjustment before the formal appeal process begins.
