All commercial property in Nebraska is assessed annually by the county assessor with the requirement to be valued uniformly and proportionately. Assessors are required to value property on January 1 of each year with notices of assessed value being sent no later than the first Monday of June to property owners. The Board of Equalization appeal deadline for all 93 counties is July 1, 2024.
The local experts at Ryan expect the 2024 values to increase for many property owners. Our team has significant experience in performing assessment reviews, assisting with tax estimates, and preparing and presenting cases informally and formally to local tax assessors and boards of equalization across the state of Nebraska.
