Platform Overview
High-level details about the platform. Benefits of the platform and why users should use it.
Project Access/Account Structure
Project access is granted via Salesforce (for Client Principals, Client Managers, Engagement Principals, and Engagement Managers) or the Workday Resource Plan. Users can ONLY access projects they are specifically granted access to *Link to Adding Team members** The Ryan logo - in the top corner of the platform - will always bring you to your Account dashboard, where you can see a high level view of everything going on in your selected account.
The Ryan.com Client Platform will manage all active projects with Ryan from the platform's launch and onward. Projects that were inactive prior to the platform's launch will not be loaded into the platform. However, if an active project is closed in Salesforce it will be available to Ryan and client users in a read-only state. In this way, Ryan.com will become a historical record of every current and past project the user has had with Ryan from launch day onward.
Project Publishing
For client users to view and manage their projects in the platform, a Ryan Management must publish that project for clients to view. Before a project is published, the Ryan team has the opportunity to load any contracts or files, update savings data, and make sure their team is in order. This way the client can have accurate and relevant project data from the first time they view the project. The goal of Ryan.com is to be transparent to the client and to give them as close to real-time data as possible.
Clients cannot view a project (or any of its data) until it has been published by a Ryan user. A user can publish a project from that project’s Overview page. Currently, the only users that have permission to publish a project to a client are the Client Principal or Client Manager of the account the project is under, as well as the Engagement Principal or Engagement Manager for the project. Those four users will be responsible for ensuring that their projects are ready for clients before publishing via the Readiness Checklist.
It is the responsibility of the Ryan teams to ensure that their projects are client-ready before publishing. Engagement Mangers will be required to have 5 of their projects reviewed by the CX team prior to publishing. This will ensure engagement managers, have dedicated time with their CX Partner to ask any questions before the project is launched to clients.
Profile
As a Ryan employee, you cannot change any contact information from the platform itself, that information is housed within Workday. However, if you have any client users on your projects, you can update their contact information from the platform and that change will be reflected in Salesforce. You can also change your SSO login straight from the portal!
