Project Partners
Father and son developers Steve and Daniel Zimmerman reimagined the 1923 Ella and Walter W. Fondren, Sr. House in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood into the La Colombe d’Or Mansion Hotel. The boutique hotel features rehabilitated and restored historic details alongside 32 suites, modern amenities, a new bar and restaurant, a sculpture garden, and artwork from the Zimmermans’ private collection. Ryan’s Historic Tax Credits team consulted on the project, helping to secure $1.3 million in state historic tax credits.
