Fuel Duty Rates Reduced and VAT Relief for Energy-Saving Materials

The Isle of Man Treasury has announced a temporary reduction to fuel duty rates and a VAT relief for energy-saving materials.

Application of 0% VAT Rate to the Installation of Energy-Saving Materials

As from 1 April 2022, and for a duration of 5 years, the installation of certain types of energy-saving materials will be subject to a 0% VAT rate in the UK. Wind turbines and water turbines will also be added again to the list of energy-saving materials.
